2. Warranty Coverage
2.1. Limited Lifetime Warranty
Turtle Shell Coatings offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty on concrete flooring products such as epoxy or polyurea. This warranty guarantees that, under normal residential usage, your flooring will remain free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as you own the property where the flooring was installed.

3. Warranty Terms
3.1. Coverage
This warranty covers:

• Defects in material and workmanship resulting in delamination, peeling, or visible fading due to manufacturing flaws.

• Issues arising from the flooring’s failure to perform under normal wear and tear conditions, excluding external factors.

• Stains caused by oil, transmission fluid, radiator fluid, diesel, or gasoline spills, provided the spills are cleaned within 20 minutes of the accident.

3.2. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

• Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, or neglect.

• Issues related to improper maintenance or cleaning that deviate from the guidelines provided by Turtle Shell Coatings at the time of installation.

• Flooring products other than Turtle Shell Coatings Polyaspartics, Epoxies, Polyureas and Urethanes.

• Damage caused by excessive moisture, flooding, or environmental conditions outside of recommended usage.

• Normal wear and tear, including scratches, scuffs, or discoloration from high-traffic use, heavy equipment, or harsh chemicals.

• Variations in color and texture between online product samples and the installed floor.

4. Warranty Claims Process
4.1. Reporting a Warranty Claim
To file a warranty claim, follow these steps:

• Contact Turtle Shell Coatings within 30 days of discovering a defect. Contact details can be found on our website.

• Provide Information: Submit a detailed description of the issue, including photographs of the affected areas and a copy of your original purchase receipt. Please provide wide-angle photos as well as close-up detail views of any issues.

• Inspection: A Turtle Shell Coatings representative will review your claim and may arrange for an inspection of the flooring to assess the issue.

4.2. Resolution
If the claim is deemed valid, Turtle Shell Coatings will:

• Repair or Replace: At their discretion, will either repair the affected area or provide replacement materials for the defective portion. Installation costs and any other related expenses are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed upon.

• No Cash Refunds: This warranty does not offer cash refunds. Replacement materials will be provided at no cost, but additional costs related to labor or other expenses are not covered.

5.1. Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the longevity and performance of your Turtle Shell Coatings flooring. Only the trained professionals at Turtle Shell Coatings are authorized to install these flooring products. .

Regular maintenance is essential to preserve the appearance and functionality of your flooring. Follow the recommended cleaning and maintenance procedures explained by Turtle Shell Coatings to avoid voiding your warranty. Cleaning and maintenance guidelines will be provided to you.

6. Limitation of Liability
Turtle Shell Coatings’ liability under this warranty is limited to the cost of repairing or replacing defective flooring, as described in this document. We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from defects in our products.

7. Warranty Transfer
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Any transfer of ownership voids this warranty. Additionally, if ownership of Turtle Shell Coatings business changes, the warranty will also become void.

8. Governing Law
This warranty is governed by the laws of Michigan, and any disputes arising from this warranty will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Michigan.
